Trustees Wanted: Capital Age Festival
Having recently secured charitable status, Capital Age Festival now seeks new Trustees to support the work of London’s leading festival for older people.
Interested applicants will need to:
- Have an interest in Older People’s Arts
- Be prepared to attend regular Board meetings in London
- Have the motivation and commitment to support the organisation in moving forward with its Artistic Vision.
Although they are keen to talk to anyone who is interested in working with them, they are particularly looking for Trustees with skills in the following areas:
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Legal Issues
- Marketing and PR
- Business Development
Trustees must have integrity, honesty and an understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of Trusteeship. Training and support will be given to those candidates who have not had the experience of being a Trustee before. Please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid position.
Capital Age Festival welcomes all expressions of interest and particular preference will be given to older applicants.
If you are unsure about being a Trustee, Capital Age Festival would be delighted to talk to you about other ways of being involved in their work.
If you are interested in working with Capital Age Festival, please get in touch with Paul Margrave, Festival Director, on paul@capitalagefestival.org.uk or call 020 8525 0990.
