A once in a lifetime opportunity
Voluntary Arts was keen to encourage members of voluntary arts organisations to make the most of the opportunities to participate in London 2012 and appointed a Once in a Lifetime project officer to help to coordinate the voluntary arts sector's involvement.
Helen Thomas has been liaising with officers at LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games) and looking out for opportunities since April 2010. Helen will continue to communicate current opportunities as well as news about how groups around the UK are getting involved, so please keep the 'Cultural Olympiad' option selected under ‘Personalise this site’ and keep checking back here if you would like to stay informed.
