The latest Age UK research ‘Creative and Cultural Activities and Wellbeing in Later Life’ shows that older people highly value opportunities to be creative and it has a positive impact on their wellbeing. But how do we take the research into practice? Age UK Oxfordshire has been working with a wide range of partnerships to bring creativity into the lives of older people locally. They are offering local Age UK's the chance to come and see what they do- and most importantly how they do it.

The anticipated outcome of the event is for local Age UK's to develop:

• more creative activities for older people in your local area
• a joint funding application between group members

To apply for a free place, simply contact Farrell Curran with a few paragraphs about:

• your organisation and role
• creative opportunities you already run (or not)
• your ambitions/ ideas for development (if you have any)
• any specific barriers that you might be facing
