Learn how to create and share engaging digital content that will capture your audience's hearts and minds.

Please bring your own laptop to this session. If you're attending with a colleague, you may bring one to share between you and work in a pair during the practical session.

Course description

Having an active digital presence in 2019 is vital. However, search engines such as Google and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are always changing their algorithms, which creates an extra challenge for digital marketers and content creators. 

This practical course will allow you to explore free tools you can use to create eye-catching and engaging content on-the-go and with no technical expertise necessary! 

You will also see examples of current best practice for sharing digital content using social media, as well as develop your own mini sharing strategy, considering different methods to drive traffic to your organisation's website, and meaningfully engage with your target audience.

About the trainer

Sarah has over 14 years of experience creating online content, including website design, social media management, copywriting, blogging, video, search engine optimisation and creating digital engagement strategies.

Having been employed in the both Local Government and the voluntary sector in a digital marketing, public engagement and consultancy role, Sarah understands the unique approach that small businesses, charities and non-profit organisations need to take in order to be successful online (without spending a fortune!)

Sarah is incredibly passionate about digital content and marketing, and that passion is palpable during her training sessions and workshops.
