Introducing Creative Canopy: A Showcase & Share Day of Arts in the Forest of Dean
Creative Canopy invites you to a day of singing, theatre, painting, crafts, printmaking, dancing, textiles, music of all kinds, circus and more – a delectable selection of wonderful things to see and do. All we ask for in return for refreshments, entertainment and delight is for you to talk to us about what you see, and what you would like to see, in the future. We’re listening.
We’re a temporary umbrella organisation comprised of some of the fantastic arts organisations in the Forest. We got together because in 2016 Arts Council England (ACE) identified the Forest of Dean as a priority area for the South West, due to comparatively low arts engagement and ACE investment. This is BRILLIANT NEWS, because it means that, on top of what we already have, we could have even MORE arts here.
Come along to the West Dean Parish Centre in Bream on Sunday 9th April, between 12 noon and 6pm, to get a taste of what is already on offer. Our showcase event will thrill and surprise you with a rolling programme of activities throughout the day. There will be something for all ages, abilities and arts activity interests.
