The Silver Social project is a daytime touring arts programme of workshops and performances, aimed at older people in community venues across Breckland, Norfolk. In May 2019, the Silver Social are hosting five participatory workshops across three days at libraries across the district. Artist Maggie Campbell will be teaching attendees how to make a colourful mosaic, step-by-step.

Maggie Campbell is an artist and tutor with over 35 years’ experience of delivering wonderful learning experiences.

Join Maggie for her decorative arts workshop and learn how to make a mosaic picture or place mat by sticking coloured glass tiles to
ply boards to make a pattern or picture of your choice.

All art materials will be included in the workshops, along with tea and cake!

Price: FREE! Voluntary donations are welcome.

Monday 20th May at Thetford Library, 10.30am - 12 midday
Tuesday 21st May at Dereham Library, 10am - 11.30am
Tuesday 21st May at Swaffham Library, 2pm - 3.30pm
Wednesday 22nd May at Attleborough Library, 10am - 11.30am (please note that Attleborough Library does not open until 10am, if you wish to arrive earlier please arrange 'Open Access' via the Library in advance)
Wednesday 22nd May at Watton Library, 2pm - 3.30pm
