Kathryn WelchKathryn brings experience of communications, partnership development and income generation across the arts, youth work, education, women’s and community development sectors. As Development Manager at Macrobert Arts Centre, Kathryn raised and managed income from trusts, individuals and business partnerships, as well as leading work on impact and evaluation and championing partnership development. For the past 18 months she has been leading a research project to find, collate and share innovative fundraising practice. Kathryn is Founder of Stirling SOUP, a live community crowdfunding event that was a finalist in the ‘Celebrating Communities’ category of the 2017 Scottish Charity Awards. She is a 2017 Clore Social Leadership Fellow. In her spare time, you can find her out in the hills with a bouncy labrador in tow, frantically trying to complete a never-ending house renovation, and getting stuck into all kinds of community projects.
