About News David Bryan appointed Chair of Voluntary Arts Voluntary Arts is delighted to welcome David Bryan as the new Chair of our Board of Trustees. He was officially appointed and joined the Board at the Voluntary Arts AGM held in Belfast on Thursday 2 November. David joins us with an incredible wealth of experience in the arts and charitable sectors. David replaces our outgoing Chair, Louise de Winter, who has now completed the maximum six year term on the Board of Voluntary Arts. David already knows the organisation well having chaired Voluntary Arts' BAME Advisory Panel for 12 months, working with all parts of the organisation and leading to the publication of the Open Conversations report. I am very excited that David Bryan has agreed to take on the role of Voluntary Arts. We are very lucky to be adding his considerable expertise and experience to our Board of Trustees and I am really looking forward to working with David to lead the organisation through a crucial period in its development. -Robin Simpson, Chief Executive, Voluntary Arts David Bryan is Director of Xtend UK Ltd, a management consultancy working in organisational change, leadership development and diversity. mostly in the not-for-profit and public sector. He has over 20 years consultancy experience, providing management training, facilitation to senior management teams, one to one coaching and governance support. Prior to becoming a consultant he worked in senior management within the voluntary sector, the arts and in academia. David is currently a member of the National Council of Arts Council England.
