The Creative Economy Fund is open to all Aberdeenshire organisations, constituted groups, partnerships, charities and creative businesses wishing to undertake a practical creative project which will benefit their community.

Up to £1,500 can be applied for to support practical projects in the craft and creative industry across Aberdeenshire. This incorporates the following 13 different areas within the creative industries sector:

  • Advertising and Marketing
  • Publishing
  • IT, Software applications and games
  • Music, Performance and Visual Arts
  • Film, TV, Video, Radio and Photography
  • Architecture
  • Craft
  • Design Product, Fashion and Graphic Designers
  • Museums, Galleries and Libraries

Please note: whilst this fund is open to all creative businesses as defined above, priority and a weighting will be given to individual creatives early in their career, supporting and developing up-and-coming and newly established creative businesses (less than 3 years old).

The fund aims to support new creative networks and supply chains, building and sharing creative skills and potentially equipment in a community, providing opportunities for creative business to exhibit, make and sell products.
