Action Transport Theatre (ATT) is a professional theatre company which makes world-class theatre for children and young audiences. They are part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio. Based in Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, the company has a local, regional, national and growing international reputation as leaders in the field, collaborating with children and young people to make pioneering work which tours to schools and venues. ATT is entering a new era of growth. Working with the local council, Cheshire West and Chester, the company will see investment of around 3.5 million into their venue, Whitby Hall, transforming the building into a fully public-facing arts centre, which will change the cultural landscape of Ellesmere Port and West Cheshire. ATT is looking for new trustees with specific experience in one or more of the following: capital development, finance, sponsorship, human resources, education, IT and local community engagement and business contacts. Action Transport Theatre welcome applications from all sectors of the community.
