Established in 2010, Alchemy Film & Arts' core ambitions are to celebrate the most creative, innovative and thought-provoking experimental film and moving image; to reach and engage with both national and international filmmakers and bring their work to the attention of the widest possible audience; and to work for the benefit of unique communities in the Scottish Borders.   

They are currently looking for a Coordinator for 'Film Town'.

Film Town is a community-oriented creative learning programme, to launch in Hawick this summer. The Film Town Coordinator will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Film Town programme, which includes community filmmaking workshops, an open-access media lab and establishing a core group of participants and volunteers.

The role requires significant prior experience of community-engaged arts and filmmaking. This is a part-time post (estimated 22.5 hours per week) for one year in the first instance with potential for contract renewal, maximum 3 years. Fee: £13,000 (£23,111 pro rata).
