Gwanwyn is a month-long national festival held across Wales in May every year celebrating creativity in older age.

Gwanwyn, which means 'spring' in Welsh, celebrates older age as a time of opportunity for renewal, growth and creativity. The aim is to offer opportunities for greater participation by older people in the arts, whether visual arts, drama, storytelling, music, literature, photography, dance or film.

The festival operates a Community Grant Scheme, offering grants of up to £500 to fund events as part of Gwanwyn Festival in May 2017.

The deadline is Wednesday 7 December 2016 - if you've got an idea, send your application in quick!
