artFix ( is a creative project with a social mission, which aims to bring art of all forms into our everyday lives in affordable, easy and fun ways. Creating artFix stores on the high streets of London, they enable everyone to experience artistic content from major cultural organisations, independent artists and artistic companies, both live and digitally. In artFix stores, anyone can just drop in and enjoy a fix of art, anywhere and anytime.

What you’ll do

The Gallery Assistant will be joining a small team where they will be working under the Founder to help plan, organise, curate and follow up exhibitions taking place at artFix. Also, together with the rest of the team, they will be helping to draft the central and local social media strategies. The Gallery Assistant will help create, develop and execute the social strategy across all platforms - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc. 

What we offer

This is an UNPAID position but the chosen candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in the development of our creative venue, working with a team of seasoned professionals and enthusiastic first-timers. Following the internship, the candidate will be evaluated and the prospects of their position becoming paid will be assessed.

Ideally, you will be working once or twice a week but it will depend on how much of your time you may wish to volunteer.

Desirable but not necessary: experience working in a Gallery, preferably with a Front of House and/or Social Media role
