Deadline: Wednesday 25 April 2018

Edinburgh International Festival is offering groups of young people aged 12-26 the opportunity to participate in international community dance project, Kadamati.

Choreographed by Akram Khan to mark the centenary of the end of World War One, Kadamati will be performed by 500 young people from across Scotland.

Participating groups will be given the chance to attend five workshops with local dance artists, then come together for a large-scale performance at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh.

No specific level or prior experience of dance is necessary, just an enthusiasm and passion to be part of this year's Edinburgh International Festival.
