Cardboard Citizens uses the power of the arts to engage, educate and inspire those who are homeless, vulnerable and most disadvantaged; helping them develop essential life skills; and to empower them to make positive life changes. It raises public awareness of homelessness issues, challenge misconceptions and provide platforms for debate.

The key objectives of the post are:

  • To contribute to the creation, direction and realisation of the overall artistic vision for the company
  • To lead on the direction of participatory theatre projects, productions and workshops offered by Cardboard
  • Citizens for homeless and ex-homeless people, including young people, refugees and asylum seekers
  • To develop and grow external training activities with the arts and social sectors
  • To develop and manage strategic relationships with arts partners, service providers, London Boroughs and other statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

Salary: £35-40k per annum
