Location: Glasgow
Deadline: 18 October 2017

The Cranhill Charity Knitters invite new members and volunteers to support their established knitting group and help develop projects for a variety of charitable causes.

The Cranhill Charity Knitters currently support Alzheimer's Scotland, Dogs Trust Scotland and premature baby care units throughout Glasgow and are keen to grow their group. The Cranhill Knitters meet fortnightly on Friday mornings at the Cranhill Development Trust 10am-12pm.

Friendly, talkative volunteers are now being sought to assist with the distribution of materials and to both teach and learn new skills whilst befriending and socialising with local members.

Volunteers will receive support from the Cranhill Development Trust in-house career guidance service (if needed), IT skills training will also be provided by the Kelvin College and there will be opportunity to meet with the Volunteer Coordinator to develop own initatives

Volunteers are reimbursed with travel and cafe expenses.
