Crawick Multiverse, funded by the Duke of Buccleuch and designed by Charles Jencks, is a major land restoration and art project in Dumfries & Galloway which has utilised landscape art to transform a former open cast coal mine into a space for people to walk, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The Crawick Multiverse Trust is currently seeking to recruit a Director.

Leading and developing a major visitor attraction with a hands-on role in managing day-to-day operations, the successful candidate will be creative, strategic, commercial, and be able to demonstrate strong people management & development experience.

·         Will you thrive in taking the lead in a small team, drawing on your contacts within the scientific and artistic networks to achieve the Trust’s objectives?

·         Can you lead and manage operations, including audience development, event management and marketing campaigns?

·         Do you have solid UK fundraising experience, preferably with knowledge of the Scottish landscape?

·         Are you media savvy with a proven record of engaging with different types of media?

To be successful in this role you should have strong operational management experience and proven ability to successfully manage and execute projects. Salary: circa £45,000.
