Whether you're looking to brush up on existing skills or learn something from scratch, our online learning sessions are here to help.

We know how much knowledge and experience there is within community arts groups, and we want to help share that through peer-to-peer learning. So we've put together a series of online learning events which feature both experts in that particular field, plus real lived experience from representatives of creative groups.

Each session will last 90 minutes on Zoom, with a brief exercise in a breakout room and time for questions at the end. The sessions will be recorded, so you can have access to them afterwards, too.

As we want to make the events as accessible as possible, we have subsidised them heavily.

These learning events are designed for anyone involved with voluntary, amateur or community-based creative groups.

Next event:

Making great visual content for your creative group
Wednesday 19 May 2021, 2-3.30pm
Cost: £15 per person.
Location: Online (Zoom)

  • Do you want to create digital content to make people aware of your group but feel you lack the knowledge, skills and confidence to do so?
  • Do you see the photos and videos other people are posting and feel you could never make something like that?
  • Do you have some amazing ideas for visuals but need some advice about how to create them?

If any of these are true, this is the workshop for you. We will take you through the different types of video and pictures you can make, the equipment and software you can use and the platforms you can publish on. We will also try and inspire you with some content ideas that can make your group really stand out.

Join experienced content-maker Gordon Craig, as well as volunteers from Stirling Photography Festival who have successfully created digital content for their own creative community group.
