The Creative People and Places fund focuses on parts of the country where Arts Council England research shows involvement in arts and culture is significantly below the national average.

Arts Council England believes that everyone has the right to experience and be inspired by art, so they want to transform the opportunities open to people in those places.

New Creative People and Places 2019

In January 2019, a new round of Creative People and Places funding opens. They will be allocating £24 million for this new programme of funding between 2019-2023 to places identified as the 'least engaged' in arts and culture across England, according to the Active Lives survey November 2015 to May 2017.

Guidance for applicants will be published on Friday 12 October.

The Arts Council are inviting you to find out more about this funding opportunity for your community at an Information Event.

Please come along if you are from a community group, cultural organisation or others such as a club or local business. You might not have worked with arts and culture before, but this event is an opportunity for you to find out how the fund can support you in transforming your community, putting power in the hands of local people and giving them a real say in the arts and culture in thier area.
