It also produces opportunities for disabled and d/Deaf people to access the arts, including training and a young people’s programme. DaDaFest is looking to appoint a Communications Assistant to the Artistic Director [AD]. The post holder will need to demonstrate skills that will ensure the AD can undertake all aspects of her duties. As the AD is a deaf person, the Communications Assistant will need to support her in the areas where hearing is required; this will include using the telephone and conveying accurate information as well as note taking. The Communications Assistant must also have the ability to represent the company, be dependable, confidential and a team player.
