Launched in 1993, the Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs are aimed at young entrepreneurs in the UK who are looking to enter the creative industries and who have a desire to create and sustain social value through their enterprise.

Start-up capital, business training and mentoring will be provided. Maximum value: £20,000.

Applicants will be able to explore, develop and establish their creative ideas into sustainable ventures, through business planning training, mentoring and capital funding for starting-up in business.  The programme aims to enable and celebrate creative entrepreneurship for social good led by 18-30-year-olds in the UK today. 

Applicants must:

  • be 18-30 years old;
  • have a strong idea or an existing business in the creative industries;
  • want to create positive social impact through their enterprise; and
  • be focussed and committed.

Applicants do not already have to have set up a business - they just need to be ready to grow with their idea.  The applicant must be able to demonstrate that a key driver for the business is to create positive social impact. It can be a not-for-profit or a commercial idea/enterprise.
