The Eden Project Communities Scotland team invite you to join community makers and inspiring community projects from all over Scotland on 6 November in Stirling, for a day of ideas, sharing, information, learning and fun.

This event will be held at the Macrobert Arts Centre and is free to anyone who wants to make positive change happen in their community, whether you have been in contact with Eden Project Communities previously or not.

There will be a range of workshops and discussion sessions scheduled for you to get involved with and guest speakers from the Place Standard, the National Lottery and the Scottish Government Community Empowerment team - amongst others.

This promises to be a busy but unforgettable day, which will include a communal Big Lunch and lots of opportunity to make new contacts and be inspired.

The Eden Project Communities Scotland team don't have the funds to cover travel costs but can point you in the direction of help and support if needed.

If you're not familiar with Eden Project Communities, here's what you need to know . . .

Eden Project Communities, the team behind The Big Lunch and The Big Walk, are passionate about supporting and encouraging people all over the UK to take positive actions that strengthen local connections and build stronger communities.

Eden Project Communities bring people together to build their confidence and grow and share their talents, offering support to individuals and communities as they create positive change to tackle local issues that matter to them most.

The Big Lunch connects people and encourages friendlier, safer neighbourhoods where people start to share more — from conversations and ideas, to skills and resources. For many, holding a Big Lunch ignites a passion for doing more good things in their community, and the Eden Project Communities UK wide team run free peer support network events across the UK for people who deliver community led projects that make a positive difference where they live.
