Epic AwardsThe Epic Awards shine a spotlight on the achievements of creative groups across the UK and Republic of Ireland each year. The 2019 Epic Awards are open for applications from 1 April until 31 May 2019. Shortlisted entries were put forward for the highly coveted People's Choice Award while winners and runners-up from each of the four main categories (England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales) were invited to the winners reception in Edinburgh on 3 October 2019. From weekly junior artisans’ sessions to collaborative art projects, Artisans Collective aims always to facilitate creative activities that minimise the cost to participants. They work alongside the Local Health Board, Town and County Councils and North Wales Police and deliver activities with a range of social functions from social prescribing to helping reduce anti-social behaviour; involving occupational therapists, artists, artisans, PCSO's and police officers alongside other members of the community.
