After open consultations across the county community and with a mental health charity, Deep Down set up three Safe Space creative groups in 2018. These groups convene in a local bar where staff are trained in Action Mental Health’s Safe Talk. The groups have flourished, and members with mental illnesses are regularly creating in poetry, comedy and song. As well as taking part in two festivals, the group has also supported the growth of the Comedy Sketch Club for people with lived mental health experience. People's Choice Award Vote for this group!
