Exit15 Community Award-Round 2 A fund to support individuals or arts groups Tell us what you are doing! The Exit 15 Community Award is designed to help you put on new events or activity, allow you as a individual or group to do something different and new and showcase your creativity. This Award is ideal for emerging or established groups or creative citizens who want to try something new. Awards of €500 will be made to 2 different groups or individuals and will be decided by the local community at a friendly public event at which you will have the opportunity to pitch your idea. To put your idea forward for consideration to be included at the public 'pitch' event then send in a brief outline of your idea (using the format below) by Friday 14th June. Are you a group or individual that live in Ballyogan/ surrounding area. Or/and a group or individual who put on/are planning to put on creative activities or events in Ballyogan/surrounding area. Are you acting on a not for profit or voluntary basis? Is your event/activity is delivering two of the main aims of the Microfund? Are you a group of people/ individual who creates/ comes together on a voluntary basis? Tell us about what you or your group does or is planning to do? We recommend you think about the 5 areas. we suggest writing only one paragraph for each question. Tell us about who is involved Tell us what event you are holding and why it is important to you Tell us how you are going to meet at least two of the main aims of the Community Awards Engagement; reach new audiences, participants or volunteers. Partnership; work with other organisations or people that enable all of you to work more effectively as a result of sharing information, skills or pooling resources. Innovation; use new ideas or approaches in a way that has an impact on your event. So fresh thinking that creates value. Creativity; creative development in your art and craft form. Your event enables volunteers and participants to develop significantly in terms of their skill levels. Tell us what you are going to spend the award money on. Please include an image that represents what you do Include any social media or website links Please state if you are happy for the partners and funder- Voluntary Arts Ireland, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and Arts Council l to share the great work you do on their website and social media platforms. Ideas do not have to be completely new, they can be part of your group’s usual programme, but if so they must address at least two of our main aims and results will be shared during the Ballyogan Festival in August 2018. We will make awards of up to €500 to 2 different applicants. If you are planning more than one event you may apply for the fund more than once but priority will be given to new applicants.
