The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a set of evidence-based actions which promote people’s wellbeing.

They are: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. These activities are simple things individuals can do in their everyday lives. Combining both some of the five ways alongside engagement in the arts, can maximise the therapeutic benefit of creativity and increasing social engagement to measurably improve health outcomes and increase wellbeing.

This toolkit provides a refreshingly clear and relevant approach to understanding the Five Ways to Wellbeing and helping us to realise and explain the massive benefits the voluntary arts bring to millions of people across the country every week.
