Deadline: 4pm, Monday 16 January 2017

Galway has been chosen as European Capital of Culture 2020. Having come through the competition process successfully, the partners in the bid are in a transitional phase of establishing a Company to lead and deliver Capital of Culture 2020.

The Creative Director is responsible for implementing those elements of the programme which were decided prior to this appointment as contained in the final Bid Book. The Creative Director will embrace the ethos of the Bid Book and will attempt to ensure that new programming is complementary to the pre-ordained programme. The Creative Director will pay due attention to the comments of the ECOC Jury report, especially in the context of qualifying Galway 2020 for the Melina Mercouri Prize.
