Dates: 13-18 August 2018

From music, dance and drama to visual and digital art, film and creative writing, the LIVE! / BEÒ! Festival invites young Scots, visitors and locals to celebrate creativity across the Highlands.

Inspired solely by young people, and developed by a team of young co-ordinators aged 18–26, the festival sees the Highland Youth Arts Hub join forces with The National Trust for Scotland to stage a varied and innovative programme of youth arts events that explore themes of local heritage and culture.

The LIVE! / BEÒ! Festival will launch on Monday 13 August at Brodie Castle, followed by a week of activities taking place at Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Inverewe Garden and Hugh Miller’s Cottage, culminating at Culloden Battlefield.

Expect to see these national treasures bought to life in a totally new way with activities including Gaelic rap performances, storytelling workshops, new music from local talent, print-making sessions and cabaret events, all curated by young people for young people.
