There is consistent evidence that a range of art and music related interventions are supportive in promoting and protecting mental wellbeing and independence. This evidence is incorporated into the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for mental wellbeing and independence for older people and will be a key point of discussion within the conference. Join NCC in Nottingham on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 September to hear how different approaches have been championed by local authorities across England and have resulted in positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable in our society.
