Founded in 1997, Mousetrap Theatre Projects is a theatre education charity committed providing opportunities for disadvantaged young people and young people with special needs to attend outstanding theatre across London.

The charity runs 20 access, education and youth engagement programmes connected to the theatre visit for young people in state schools, families and youth clubs. Last year the charity took close to 15,000 young people to the theatre with all tickets £5 - £10.

Mousetrap Theatre Projects seeks a full-time Creative Learning Manager to spearhead the theatre education charity's education work in mainstream schools (mainly in London). The role will require administering Mousetrap's nationally recognised education programmes as well as creating new innovative projects to meet the changing needs of students, teachers and schools. The objective of its education work is to use theatre as a catalyst to encourage students to explore ideas, gain new skills, broaden their horizons and raise aspirations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and running education programmes in the arts with strong planning, organisational and evaluation skills. He or she must be an ideas person, excellent communicator, creative and energetic and be a committed advocate for learning through the arts.

Salary: £30,000
