Music in Hospitals & Care Scotland is looking for volunteers for post-concert public collections.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, Music in Hospitals & Care Scotland is a national charity founded in 1948 to benefit people of all ages, with an illness or a disability in healthcare, through the provision of high quality, therapeutic music sessions.

Annually MiHC, as a UK-wide organisation, reaches 130,000 people through the delivery of 5,000 live music performances. Its bank of 450 high-quality freelance musicians has delighted audiences from 5 months to 101 years old.

They are currently looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to join them during the festive season to collect public donations following one or more of the following concerts which are being held to raise funds for Music in Hospitals & Care.

Saturday 8 December - Got Soul Choir, Soul Party Concert, Caird Hall, Dundee, 8 p.m.

Tuesday 11 December - Edinburgh Royal Choral Union – Christmas with the Choral Concert, Morningside Parish Church, 7.30 p.m.

Friday 14 December - Glasgow Phoenix Choir – Christmas Concert, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, 7.30 p.m.

Thursday 20 December - Scottish Chamber Orchestra Chorus Christmas Concert, Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh, 7.30 p.m.
