It does this by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations, from the smallest community groups to the largest charities.

As a trainee volunteering development policy officer, you will support NCVO's crucial work on volunteering development and policy. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a range of skills and experience whilst contributing to its research and applying policy analysis. NCVO will provide you with training together with real opportunities to work on meaningful projects.
An excellent communicator, you deliver high quality customer service and engage confidently with a range of different stakeholders and audiences. Moreover, you have good analytical skills and numeracy required to present information clearly.

With an interest in policy development, you are aware of current issues affecting volunteering policy and some knowledge of how policy is devised. You work well both as part of a team and independently and effectively prioritise your own workload.

Salary: £20,271 pa rising to £22,524 after 12 months
