Opening Doors is an art and music project in collaboration with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Wall2Wall Music and Voluntary Arts Ireland to make new music and art with local people from Ballymena, Larne, Carrick and surrounding areas taking place between April and the Autumn of 2018.

What is involved?

You will be working with composer Sarah Murphy and poet/librettist Colin Hassard to generate lyrics, stories and text for a new composition to be performed in Autumn 2018. Activities such as free writing and collaborative lyric writing will take place in separate workshops in Ballymena, Larne and Carrick and your words and ideas will help inspire the song lyrics for the new piece.

Who is it for?

This is open to anyone in the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area who would like to contribute and has stories to tell. All ages and all experiences welcome from 16- 100!
