Applications are open for the current round of Scotmid's Community Connect Fund.

Community Connect is a funding initiative which enables Scotmid members to give back to their communities.  

All three member areas in Scotland – North, East and West – will each shortlist three good cause groups, who are looking for funding in their relevant geographical area. All three of the groups shortlisted will receive a share of £25,000. The funds of £15,000, £7,500 and £2,500 will be allocated based on the votes received.

Community Groups applying must be:

·    An established Good Cause Group or Charity (see the Scotmid website for more info on this)

·    Part of a new group who have an idea which will enhance your local community

They're looking for applications that:

·    Benefit the local community centered around Scotmid or Semichem stores

·    Have the greatest possible benefit to their community

·    Are scheduled to be completed within 24 months of the award date
