SISTEMA Scotland has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Communications and Marketing Manager to join the organisation.

Sistema Scotland is a national charity and its vision is to transform lives with music. It delivers on this vision through the creation of Big Noise programmes within communities. Big Noise works to support children to reach their full potential and to bring about permanent social change in their communities. Sistema uses the symphony orchestra and learning a musical instrument as the tools to equip children with a range of social and life skills including confidence, resilience and aspiration.

You will be a key member of the Sistema Scotland leadership team, responsible for leading on the development and delivery of Sistema Scotland’s communications and marketing strategy.

You will ensure that the organisation continues to maintain a reliable and compelling case for its approach to transforming lives with music, upholding its key messages and values, raising awareness of the organisation and promoting its brand.

You will have extensive experience within the communications sector, within a senior communications and marketing role, as well as a successful track record of defining and managing external and internal communications strategy.

Sistema now has Big Noise centres across Scotland in Raploch, Stirling; Govanhill, Glasgow; Torry, Aberdeen; and Douglas, Dundee. It works with more than 2,500 children from birth to adulthood in school and nursery, after school and during the holidays.

Salary: £40,326 – £43,510 (all new staff start on the first point of the scale).
