Area: Stirling
Deadline: 31 May 2017

The Engine Shed, Scotland’s first dedicated building conservation centre, is based on the banks of the River Forth in Stirling.

It has been undergoing restoration works and is due to open its doors this summer, with interactive exhibitions and hands-on activities for all the family.

Volunteers are now being sought to help with the Engine Shed's exciting programme of events, exhibition and education sessions, starting in June 2017.

They are looking for individuals who:

• are approachable, friendly and enthusiastic
• can work in a team
• have excellent communication skills
• are happy to provide information and guidance to the public

Although a background in heritage and conservation isn't required, an appreciation of Historic Environment Scotland’s and the Engine Shed's role and purpose is essential. Further information will be provided to successful applicants.
