Area: Alloa, Clackmannanshire
Deadline: 15 August 2017

Volunteers are now being recruited to help support The Great Tapestry of Scotland exhibition in Alloa, which includes a lively programme of talks and workshops aimed at getting the community engaged with their local heritage.

The Great Tapestry of Scotland is on display in the Alloa Speirs Centre, Clackmannanshire until 18 August 2017, hosted by Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface and Clackmannanshire Council.

History buffs, friendly local folk, young people, peer support volunteers and stitchers are being invited to play their part in The Great Tapestry of Scotland, which is estimated to bring 20,000 extra visitors to Clacks over the summer months.

Full training and support will be provided.
