It produces pioneering outdoor and indoor work fusing aerial skills with visual theatre in site-specific, immersive and touring performances. It creates spectacular and unforgettable productions and participation projects dealing with contemporary narratives aimed at awakening empathy, ethical and political consciousness in our wide range of audiences. Scarabeus also deliver empowering participation projects to disadvantaged children, young people, and their families. Trustees provide leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the organisation observes best practice in governance and is accountable for the company’s actions and resources. They ensure financial resources are well managed and use their skills, knowledge, contacts and experience to help support the development of the organisation and raise the company’s profile. Scarabeus are looking to expand its board of trustees and are seeking to add to the skills and experience of the current board.
