Deadline: Friday 27 July 2018
Location: Edinburgh and Glasgow

Could you run basic and informal arts or crafts activities for small groups of clients at Shaw Trust Scotland, based on your practice, passion or pastimes?

As a volunteer with Shaw Trust Scotland, you will provide valuable help by sharing your skills, interests and time in the form of an activity group for the people who visit the Trust for support.

The Shaw Trust's 'Wellbeing Works' campus provides health and wellbeing support to around 350 members of the Glasgow and Edinburgh community who, because of a disability, poor mental health or disadvantage can’t find work.

They are recruiting for volunteers to help these individuals manage their health and wellbeing so they are ready, able and have the strength to maintain employment when the time comes.

They would love to hear from anyone who has a passion that they would like to share with the Trust's clients. The main duty of this volunteer role would be to lead and share an activity on an on-going basis with a group.

You do not need to be an expert, just happy to share your talent. They are open to suggestions as to the kind of arts or crafts related you can run, get in touch if you think you can support them: Jason Moyes, [email protected] or tel: 0300 247 2222.
